a very pleasant day, partly sunny, warm and mild.

We didn't make a specific trip for sales, but did stop at two we passed on our way home from hydration. Found a couple of treasures, glad we stopped. And of course, priced-right socks are always a welcome find.

the total for all this cuuh was 75 cents. The glasses case has a microfiber cleaning cloth inside. Joe bought the flashlight for salvage, switch, bulb, etc.

Joe found a set of these cuff links for sale somewhere (not ebay) for $34.00 + shipping--and of course they are still "for sale" at that price and may have been for years...still, we paid 5 cents each for the pair!

Haven't been saleing in quite some time, it was wonderful to hit a couple today on the way home from hydration.

Just what we need: cookbooks!! Couldn't resist, these are all gems, and the price was certainly right. The book on Loveland history is also a real find, we love history books covering our hometown.

A recent picture of Atticus snoozing with the "kittens" (who turned 3 this past week, hardly kittens anymore...) He is such a social cat and so obviously loves living with his 4 sisters!

I was a recent visitor at Medical Center of the Rockies, thought I'd share the view from my window on the 4th floor. Scaffolding obstructed the view a bit, but it is such a fantastic scene that it really hardly mattered. Waking just as daylight creeps in on this western view was quite a treat--and I had the chance to do it 2X, with the bonus on my second stay when 2 workmen, plugged into all kinds of safety straps, spent a few minutes caulking the windows.

January 28th

missed logging cuuh from trip to Goodwill 2 weeks ago; went to ARC thrift last week but didn't buy anything, today we went to the Habitat Thrift Store and bought a some books and 3 pairs of pants. So what I have pictures of gets logged today...

We are always looking for neck-friendly-looking shirts for Joe, hopefully these will be wearable for him. I have been looking for a new winter jacket for awhile, so I was very pleased to find a suitable choice today--especially with the coldest temps yet forecast for early next week. And of course I found the gorgeous sweaters while hunting for the jacket and just couldn't resist...
